Cookie policy

About cookies in general

Swedish law requires that we inform you about which cookies are used and their purpose.

A cookie is a small text file stored in the browser on your computer, mobile phone, tablet or similar device when you visit a website. A cookie may contain information about your internet habits or ensures that the web page is displayed correctly. Cookies are not harmful.

You choose if you want to accept cookies

Some parts of our digital channels can only be used fully if your browser allows cookies.

If you do not accept the use of cookies you can turn off cookies via your browser’s security settings. You can also set the web browser so that you receive a warning each time the website tries to put a cookie on your computer. Through the browser, previously stored cookies can also be deleted.

See your browser’s help pages for more information on how you can see which cookies are stored in your browser, how to delete them and make settings for whether or not cookies are accepted.

Different types of cookies

We use cookies on our open pages and on the encrypted pages which require logging in. There are two types of cookies; there are persistent cookies (permanent cookies) and session cookies (temporary cookies). A persistent cookie is stored for a longer period of time on your computer and has an expiry date. A session cookie is stored temporarily and disappears when you close the browser. We also use third party cookies which do not come from ICA Banken, on our website.
